Explore our manufacturing capabilities:
Manual & CNC Metal Spinning
For higher volume-work, we utilize our CNC metal spinning equipment. Our hydraulic-assist and manual spinning lathes are often used for lower volume prototype work.
Hydraulic Deep Draw Forming
Deep draw forming via one of our multiple hydraulic presses is often used in tandem with spun components for multi-piece assemblies.
Fiber Laser Cutting
We offer unparalleled high parts production and first-class cutting quality, depending on laser power for thin to medium-thick sheet metal.
CNC Roll Forming, Milling & Machining
E.H. Schwab is home to multiple pieces of CNC equipment not only for spinning, but also for machining, milling and routing.
Welding
E.H. Schwab offers Manual and Robotic MIG welding, Manual TIG welding in addition to programmable seam welding and planishing capabilities.
Secondary Operations
E.H. Schwab is well equipped for trimming and beading, punching, piercing, flaring, certified welding, stud welding, inserts, finishing, glass bead blasting, ultrasonic washing, and more.
E.H. Schwab's manufacturing facility features state-of-the-art metal forming and fabricating equipment across every department and discipline.
In the office, this includes our JobBOSS ERP system and SolidWorks CAD software for tool design. CNC machine lathes and mills are hardwired, and programs are downloaded and translated via MasterCAM. Blanks are cut directly from sheet stock on a 2,000 watt fiber laser before moving to the forming operation. While CNC spinning and manual spinning remain E.H. Schwab’s core competencies, other processes, such as hydraulic draw forming with modern touch-screen controls and programmable CNC rolls for cylinders are also available. Secondary forming and finishing capabilities are extensive and include punching, piercing, beading, break-forming, PEM-style inserts, weld studs, finishing, blasting and more. Our weld department is fully equipped with modern MIG and TIG equipment, and complemented by two programmable seam welders. A 6′ Faro Edge Laser Scanner with Polyworks software can provide complete part inspection layered over the CAD model for clear and precise inspection reports, or can be used for reverse-engineering. All quality documents are managed via Unipoint.
Every piece of equipment in our facility is capable of making precision parts from prototype to production. However, the skilled operators are the heart of our manufacturing capabilities. E.H. Schwab invests in continuous training for our employees in their chosen field(s) of expertise. With an average tenure of over 12 years per employee, we have both the scale and expertise to handle your toughest challenge.
We welcome the opportunity to earn your business.
